Ahead Of Eid Al-Fitr, The National Police Prepares The Ketupat Operation Scheme 2023

JAKARTA - The National Police has prepared a traffic security scheme during Ramadan to Eid Al-Fitr 2023. Later, Operation Ketupat 2023 will be held for two weeks.

"14 days can be extended depending on the dynamics of security, order, safety, and smooth traffic", said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, to reporters, Saturday, March 25.

The Ketupat operation was carried out a week before and after Eid al-Fitr 2023. The focus of security is more on public safety in driving.

Of course, not only people who use private vehicles. But also public transportation modes.

Then, in maintaining security and comfort, the National Police will also cooperate with the Ministry of Transportation and Jasa Marga.

"In principle, the National Police together with relevant stakeholders provide smooth, security, safety and comfort for the community in going home and back in all modes of transportation," said Dedi.
