Hyundai Presents The Latest Verna For The Indian Market

JAKARTA - Hyundai's flagship sedan, Accent officially landed in India under the name Verna. The sixth-generation car comes as a sedan with a small dimension.

How could I not, Hyunda Verna 2023 comes with a length of 4,535 mm, a width of 1,765 mm, a height of 1,475 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,670 mm.

For the interior, quoted from CarWale, Tuesday, March 21, it presents a 10.25-inch screen, heating front seat, skin coating, surrounding lighting and two-color trim.

Another feature embedded in Verna 2023 is, power sunset, electrically manageable driver seats, wireless charging pads, and there is a shiftr pedal. Hyundai will still embed conventional controls that have been used before so that it can help users of Verna 2023.

Moving to the outside, Verna 2023 adopted Elantra's design. However, with the wide LED light width, it makes the car look like Kona and Staria's sedan version.

In the engine section, the Hyundai Verna 2023 is provided in a gasoline engine. The 1.5 L Naturally Aspirated variant has a power of 113 dk and a 144 Nm torque combined with a six-speed manual gearbox or Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT).

Meanwhile, the highest variant, 1.5 L turbocharged offers 156 dk of power and 253 Nm of torque, which is paired with a manual transmission of six accelerations or an automatic double coupling of seven accelerations.

Hyundai also offers safety features to Verna 2023, such as six airbags, rear disc brakes, tie pressure monitoring systems, hill assists, and electric parking brake.

Talking about the price, the cheapest Hyundai Verna 2023 variant is 13,200 dollars or around Rp. 202 million. As for the most expensive model, the price is 21,000 dollars or Rp. 321 million.
