Genesis Will Soon Produce Luxury Electric Cars

JAKARTA - South Korean automaker Genesis plans to make another electric car. They plan to produce a tiny EV car that will be sold in Europe.

Reported on the Carscoops page, Thursday, March 23, 2023, they plan on the car not only tiny, but Genesis will offer a luxurious element in it.

Mark Choi, as Head of Planning Product Genesis, said the car would later be very important for Genesis' development in the electric car segment in the future.

"We will expand our electric car market, especially in the European continent. And this tiny electric car will become one of our important products in the future," said Choi.

Even though he had planned this, he was still waiting for approval so that this car would be produced immediately. What's more, several factors are needed so that the production of the electric car can be realized.

"This is actually not an easy matter in presenting new products. We have to see if later this car has good market potential and a production process that prioritizes the quality and cost that is as flexible as possible," added Choi.

According to Genesis Head of Design, Sang Yup Lee, the EV will be based on the Mint Concept concept that was introduced in 2019. "We will combine the GV60-style look but with a compact but futuristic and luxurious dimension," concluded Lee.
