JAKARTA - Google is starting to present other new AI Duet features in Workspace, one of which is the spinsheet for Spreadsheets. Users can create special templates according to their wishes.
This new feature will automatically create custom plans for any task, project, or activity that users want to track and manage. Then, Spreadsheet will produce a plan that helps users set it up.
"The AI duet helps you make organized plans with tools that give you a good start," Google said.
The company recommends that this feature be used for those who want to create product roadmaps, company retreats, and team budgets as potential use cases
However, the AI Duet feature is a gradual launch for Trusted Testers in the Google Workspace Labs program. So, the company hasn't officially launched it to the public.
Apart from Sheets, Google has also implemented the AI Duet into Meet and introduced the ability to create a unique background on video calls.
Features will help users express themselves and deepen connections during video calls while protecting their environmental privacy.
The Slide application also gets an AI Duet, so users can easily produce images with multiple text.
With an image model, users can visualize something that never happened before. For example, if a user is a marketing person who wants to brainstorm the initial concept with a client.
They can use the AI Duet feature in Slides to generate original visuals conveying their vision, all from simple text commands.
Launching Engadget, Friday, June 23, Google has been very fast in expanding AI devices since announcing the Duet for Workspace at the I/O conference last month.
When the tester enters the prompt in the web version of Docs, the AI Duet can make text and automatically enter smart chips as well.
In Gmail, the AI Duet can create email drafts on the web and mobile that offer contextual suggestions for replies as well. Google plans to bring more AI features to Workspace Labs in the coming months.
