JAKARTA - After rumors circulated that he would bring chatbot ChatGPT to Bing, Microsoft now plans to bring GPT's artificial intelligence (AI) language in its suite of Office products, including Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

GPT aka Generative Pretrained Transformer is a product made by OpenAI, including ChatGPT and Dall-E 2 which have recently gone viral on the Internet because it can produce text and images.

According to reports, Microsoft is testing the features of the AI GPT model in PowerPoint and Outlook, including a function that users can use to find Outlook search results with commands such as AI-driven speech.

In addition, Outlook and Word also obtained an AI model that uses email replies or changes in documents that are recommended to bring writing skills.

It is not yet known for sure whether Microsoft will build it into a Microsoft Office version for consumers, or just to test the GPT model in its products.

Microsoft also brought the GPT AI model into its Bing search engine in an effort to compete with Google. This could be a product that will most likely be released in March.

In terms of privacy, launching Digital Trends, Tuesday, January 10, Microsoft is currently developing its own custom privacy preservation model based on GPT-3, as well as GPT-4, which has not yet been released.

The company claims to have seen preliminary positive results in training large language models about personal data, but has not confirmed whether the model is viable enough for commercial products or business levels.
