JAKARTA - WB Games Montreal announced that the Batman open world game Gotham Knights will no longer be released for PS4 or Xbox One.

"In order to provide the best gaming experience for players, the game will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC and will no longer be available for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One," reads the announcement on Tuesday, May 10.

In addition, WB Games Montreal also shared the official gameplay for Nightwing and Red Hood. The gameplay focuses on two characters trying to restore peace in Gotham City, while investigating around the mysterious Owl Court.

"This gameplay is directly narrated by our Game Director Geoff Ellenor," the announcement continued.

WB was set to launch Gotham Knights worldwide in the summer of 2020, but there was a delay so the game will launch on October 25, 2022.

Starting today, Gotham Knights will be available for pre-order across all launch platforms via the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

Additionally, pre-orders will receive 233 Custom Batcycle Skins upon release, inspired by the vehicle's first appearance in Detective Comics #233 DC.
