JAKARTA - Gresini Racing racer Marc Marquez revealed the names of the riders he considered were his toughest competitors in the MotoGP season 2024.

In addition to the other two Ducati riders, namely two-time world champion Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo) and MotoGP 2023 runner-up Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac), Brad Binder's name (Red Bull KTM) is also on the list of riders Marquez was wary of in his debut season with Gresini.

There are two riders to be beaten. Pecco (Bagnaia) is strong in consistency and control in all situations, while Martin is strong in terms of speed, "said Marquez, quoted from the Crash page on Sunday.

"The third driver I will be wary of is Brad Binder, but it needs to be seen also how the evolution and development taken by KTM (this season)," he added.

KTM itself has shown its strength is quite stable and solid, as evidenced by their achievements last season, with Binder finishing fourth in the drivers' standings and winning the podium several times.

For this reason, Marquez said he had tried to adapt as quickly as possible on the Ducati GP23 motorbike in order to compete with the three strong riders.
