President Jokowi was accompanied by Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainudin Amali, Mayor of Jayapura, Benhur Tommy Mano and a number of other officials while watching the excitement of the judo match. President Jokowi is also scheduled to close Peparnas.

"I would like to congratulate Papua for having successfully organized PON and also successfully organizing Peparnas. Papua occupies the top (standing) place," he said.
