ASN Starts Moving To IKN September 2024, Here Are The Details Of The Ministry

JAKARTA - Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas said, there are at least 38 ministries/agencies that will move to the capital city of the archipelago (IKN).

The gradual transfer will begin in September 2024.

Based on the direction of the Palace, he continued, the first phase of the transfer of ASN will be carried out after the ceremony of Indonesia's 79th Independence Day at IKN.

"We received directions from the Palace that the transfer was gradual, but ASN will start moving after the August ceremony. Because the ceremony will be used by all ceremony participants at IKN, so that the first phase of transfer is after August. God willing, September transfer," Anas said at a press conference at the Kominfo office, Jakarta, Wednesday, April 17.

Azwar added that some ministers had moved to IKN in July 2024. One of them was PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono.

"But in July some ministers began to move to IKN, including Pak Basuki," he said.

The transfer saw institutional screening and the availability of housing. In the first phase, at least 11,916 ASN in 38 ministries or institutions will be moved.

There are 179 echelon 1 officials or JPT madya included.
