Agus said, in order to achieve this, in 2018, the Making Indonesia 4.0 roadmap had been launched as an effort to accelerate the digital transformation of the manufacturing sector in the country.
The roadmap was used as a reference for industry players and policymakers to implement the industrial revolution 4.0 concept, with the big target being that Indonesia is included in the ranks of 10 major countries that have the strongest economies in the world by 2030.
He considered that the most important thing about technological transformation in the industrial sector was the use of digital equipment and the ability to adopt technology.
"The most important component in the digital transformation process is the awareness of the benefits of using digital equipment, not only the ability to adopt technology, but must be in line with changes in the digital mindset," he said.
In addition, Agus said, his party has also run the National Lighthouse Industry 4.0 program which has been running since 2019, by establishing several manufacturing companies as pilot (role models) for other companies in carrying out industrial transformation and implementation 4.0.
