The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) expressed its deep concern and condolences for the Turangga train accident related to Surabaya Gubeng-Bandung and Commuterline Bandung Raya which occurred on Friday, January 5, at around 06.03 WIB.

"We also apologize for this and of course also interfere with railway services, especially in West Java," said Ministry of Transportation Spokesperson Adita Irawati in her official statement.
