Buy Train Tickets At Traveloka To Indomaret Now Can Be 1 Hour Before Departure

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) has extended the deadline for booking fire tickets through sales partner channels such as Traveloka, tiket.com, Tokopedia, Misteraladin, Indomaret, and so on.

KAI's VP of Public Relations Joni Martinus said this extension of the time limit is to increase the flexibility and convenience of customers in buying tickets.

Joni said that since yesterday ticket bookings through sales partner channels can be served up to 1 hour before the train departure schedule, with the deadline for payment no later than 30 minutes after the transaction stage is completed.

Previously, he continued, ticket purchases through sales partner channels could only be made up to 3 hours before departure.

"This policy change KAI does to further increase the flexibility and convenience of customers in buying tickets. KAI always improves services to customers, especially at this moment of Christmas and New Year's Transportation," he said in an official statement, Friday, December 22.

Furthermore, Joni said, the flexibility in purchasing tickets allows prospective passengers who have to leave suddenly, to buy tickets on the ticket sales partner channel while traveling to the station.

Meanwhile, for ticket bookings long ago, Joni said, customers can book tickets through the Access by KAI application, the kai.id website, or through the sales partner channel.

The purchase of tickets at the station counter only serves go-show sales (3 hours before train departure.

"During this Naru holiday, KAI urges customers to plan trips and immediately order KAI tickets early. This is so that customers have the freedom to choose the appropriate travel schedule, they can even choose their favorite seat position," he said.

"In addition, we appeal to customers to always maintain health protocols when using train services for mutual comfort," continued Joni.
