He explained that the two holidays that were changed were the Islamic New Year 1440 Hijri holiday which fell on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, changed to Wednesday, August 11, 2021.

The Prophet's Birthday Holiday on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 was changed to Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Meanwhile, the joint holiday for Christmas Day on December 24, 2021 was abolished.

"The Christmas Day 2021 joint leave on December 24, 2021 will be abolished. Those are the three points that we have decided together by the three Ministries," said Muhadjir.

The decision was made after the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture held a meeting with three relevant ministers, namely the Minister of Manpower, the Minister of Religion, and the Minister of PAN RB.
