Vehicle Volume At GT Cikampek From The Trans Java Capai 113,452 Toll Road During This Eid

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) reported a significant increase in the volume of vehicles entering the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT) and other main toll gates during the period 10-12 April 2024.

According to an official statement from the Vice President of Corporate and Legal Secretary of PT JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, the number of vehicles entering GT Cikampek Utama from the east of Trans Java reached 113,452 units in that time span.

"We note an increase in the volume of vehicle traffic at a number of main toll gates," said VP. Corporate Secretary and Legal of PT JTT Ria Marlinda Paallo in a written statement in Semarang, Saturday

This increase reflects a 46.85 percent jump compared to normal traffic, which was previously only around 77,256 vehicles.

Not only at GT Cikampek Utama, but also there was a significant increase in other toll gates. For example, at GT Kalikangkung, 79,474 vehicles headed to Jakarta or an increase of 72.63 percent from normal traffic. Meanwhile, at GT Banyumanik, the number of vehicles heading to Jakarta reached 98,407 vehicles, an increase of 104.39 percent compared to normal traffic.

"Meanwhile, for vehicles heading to the eastern region of Trans Java, 165,958 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 106.35 percent from normal traffic as many as 80,426 vehicles," he said.

For the opposite direction, towards the eastern region of Trans Java, there was also a striking increase in traffic. A total of 165,958 vehicles headed to the area, an increase of 106.35 percent from normal traffic of 80,426 vehicles.

"For vehicles heading to Solo, there are 144,578 vehicles, an increase of 137.34 percent from normal traffic as many as 60,915 vehicles," he said.

VP of PT JTT also emphasized the importance of preparation for toll road users before starting the trip. He suggested ensuring that vehicles and themselves are in top condition, preparing fuel adequacy and electronic money balances, and complying with traffic signs and directions from officers in the field.

With a significant spike in traffic during this holiday period, extra attention is needed to ensure safety and smooth travel. All road users are expected to comply with the rules and be vigilant during travel.

"Make sure that you and your vehicle are in prime condition, ensure the adequacy of fuel and electronic money balances, and comply with signs and directions from officers in the field," he said.
