JAKARTA - KPU member August Mellaz revealed that the recapitulation of the re-voting (PSU) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, will soon be scheduled to participate in the national recapitulation at the KPU office, Jakarta.

"It's only a matter of one or two days that will be scheduled to go to Jakarta," Mellaz said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, March 14.

The recapitulation for the mobile ballot box (KSK) method and the polling station (TPS) called Mellaz has been completed.

"What is clear is that the latest information per day, since last night I have obtained it, all processes have been completed in Kuala Lumpur," he said.

Based on KPU Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the recapitulation of the 2024 General Election is scheduled to take place from February 15 to March 20, 2024.

The KPU has set a permanent overseas voter list (DPTLN) for PSU in Kuala Lumpur reaching 62,217 people consisting of 42,372 voters at 22 TPSLN and 19,845 voters at 120 KSK.

This figure was obtained from the total voters who attended Kuala Lumpur through three previous voting methods, both those recorded on the permanent voter list (DPT), additional voter lists (DPTb), and special voter lists (DPK).

The total voters for the three methods recorded in the DPT, DPTb, and DPK reached 78 thousand. The 78 thousand numbers are databases for updating with three categories, namely validity of addresses, multi-plane analysis, and validity of population identification numbers (NIK) and passport numbers.

The KPU carried out the Kuala Lumpur PSU on Sunday (10/3). The implementation of the TPSLN method was carried out at the Kuala Lumpur WTC while the KSK was distributed in 120 locations in Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Selangor, the Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya Communion areas.
