PALEMBANG - Opsnal Unit 2 Team Sub-Directorate IV Tipidter Ditreskrimsus Polda South Sumatra conducted a warehouse raid suspected of being an illegal fuel hoarding area (BBM) in Ogan Ilir Regency.

"Today, our team carried out raids assisted by dozens of joint personnel from Denpom Palembang, Satreskrim Polres OI and Satpol PP OI Regency in Pegayut Village, Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency," said Head of Sub-Directorate IV Tipidter South Sumatra Police AKBP Bagus Suryo Wibowo quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, February 10.

Initially, his party received reports from the public through the WhatApps application for police assistance from the South Sumatra Police, then immediately carried out an investigation and follow-up to the demolition.

When visited and demolished, officers did not find any activity in the warehouse, either processing or hoarding of fuel.

Based on information from the Ogan Ilir Regency Satpol PP, it is known that the warehouse building does not have a Building Permit (IMB) from the OI Regency Government.

However, when the demolition was carried out in an uninhabited warehouse, several evidences (BB) of hoarding and processing illegal diesel fuel were found.

Among them is one unit of Tedmond with a capacity of 3,000 liters empty, and 10 units of babytank with a capacity of 1,000 liters are also empty.

"We confiscated all the evidence and secured it at the Ogan Ilir Police for further investigation. Including looking for the warehouse owner whose identity has been identified," he said.
