Having A Base, Maruarar Is Considered A Democrat Can Be A 'Vitamin' For Prabowo-Gibran

Chairman of the Democratic Party BPOKK, Herman Khaeron, said he was happy if Maruarar Sirait wanted to join the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN) after saying goodbye from the PDI-P.

According to Herman, Maruarar can be a vitamin for candidate pairs number 2 because it has a mass base, especially among young people.

"Mas Ara has a youth base and certainly has a base in his party. If Mas Ara shifts to 02, of course this will be a vitamin, it will be an additional strength in order to win Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran," said Herman Khaeron at the DPR building, Tuesday, January 16.

"Of course this is our hope, the closer we get to voting and the more the public can see the quality of Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran being able to answer the nation's challenges in the future," he continued.

The spokesman for TKN Prabowo-Gibran admitted that he would be very grateful if Maruarar was willing to join the 02 camp. As did his former party colleague, Budiman Sudjatmiko.

"Previously, Mas Budiman Sudjatmiko, also Mas Ara resigned. That is an option. And if later it is like Mas Budiman Sudjatmiko who then supports candidate pair 02, we are grateful," he said.

"Because after all Mas Ara is a young figure who in his past was a parliamentary tiger, an extraordinary idea, and has an extraordinary network," continued Herman.

Nevertheless, Herman submitted the decision regarding this matter to Maruarar himself. He explained that politics really depends on the will and interest of each of them he chooses.

"Of course it has become Mas Ara's desire to leave the PDIP, yes, it is an option. And in the political system that goes through the party, of course there are many choices to be able to match the expectations and desires of the individual. Therefore, we must respect individual decisions," explained the member of the DPR.
