JAKARTA - The Indonesian House of Representatives held a plenary meeting to open the trial period III for 2023-2024 today, Tuesday, January 16. Puan said, in the implementation of the legislative function, the DPR RI will continue the discussion of 19 (nineteen) Draft Laws which are currently still in the stage of Level I Talks.
"Yang terdiri dari 3 (tiga) RUU Proposal DPR, 5 (lima) RUU Proposal Pemerintah, 3 (tiga) RUU Proposal DPD dan 8 (eight) RUU kumulatif terbuka," ungkap Puan.
In addition, he continued, there are 34 (twenty-four) bills that will enter the stage of Level I Talks. Namely 3 (three) of the DPR's Proposal Bill, 2 (two) of the Government Proposal Bill and 29 (twenty-nine) of the Open Cumulative Bill.
Puan assessed that the complexity in forming the law was greatly determined by how many different perspectives and interests between parties would be regulated in the law.
