Dispar Gunungkidul Centers Fireworks Party In Wonosari Square

GUNUNGKIDUL - The Gunungkidul Regency Tourism Office, Yogyakarta Special Region, is focusing on the 2024 New Year's Eve party in Wonosari Square and 10 other points organized by the private sector.

Head of the Gunungkidul Tourism Office, Oneng Windu Wardana, said that the turn of New Year's Eve in Wonosari Square is projected to be 2,000 people.

"In Wonosari Square there is a fireworks party with an estimated 2,000 people," said Oneng as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, December 29.

He said 10 points reported that he would hold a New Year's Eve party, namely HeHa Sky View, Patuk will hold fireworks, DJ performance, live music, games, door prizes.

Furthermore, HeHa Ocean View, Panggang only held fireworks. Meanwhile, HeHa Stone Valley, Tepus will hold music concerts, games, DJ performances, fireworks parties. The estimated total visitors at the three locations reached 1,500 people.

Then, in De Mangol View, Patuk there will be a 2024 New Year's Special Lantern Festival with an estimated number of visitors reaching 300 people. Others, at Santika Hotel, Playen Gunungkidul also have their own event, namely gala dinner, dance, musical performance, magic, count down with an estimated 250 visitors.

At Lau View, Purwosari with an estimated 700 visitors and Queen Of The South Resort, Purwosari with an estimated 250 visitors.

Two other locations that held the year-end event were Taman Watu Resto, Panggang and Hotel D Girijati, Purwosari with an estimated total of 150 visitors.

"The number of visitors visiting could be more than that," said Oneng.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Gunungkidul Sunaryanta asked the public to celebrate the New Year's Eve party naturally.

"New year celebrations are celebrated naturally, don't overdo it," he said.
