Anies-Cak Imin National Team Spokesperson Since August Has Become A Tax Embezzlement Suspect

JAKARTA - The head of the DKI Jakarta Regional AMIN Legal Team, Aziz Yanuar, denied the issue of the arrest of the Anies-Muhaimin national team spokesman or Cak Imin (AMIN), Nurindra B. Charismiadji.

According to Aziz, Nurindra or Indra was only detained after the handover of files at the East Jakarta Kejari.

"He was not arrested but detained when the handover of files from the investigating team of the Directorate of Law Enforcement of the Head Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) to the prosecutor's office in stage 2," Aziz Yanuar told VOI, Thursday, December 28.

Aziz explained that there were no arrests of Indra. However, Indra was summoned to hand over.

"The suspect's status has been around for a long time since August last year. There has been no arrest, only detention since the handover of the file," he said.

"There was no previous detention. When stage two was just arrested," he added.

Previously, it was reported that the East Jakarta District Attorney (Kejari) officially detained the spokesman for the Anies-Muhaimin national team or Cak Imin (AMIN) Nurindra B. Charismiadji for alleged tax evasion cases.

Acting Head of the Intelligence Section of the East Jakarta Kejari Mahfuddin Cakra Saputra said that Nurindra, who is also a politician from the Nasdem Party, is now being held at the Cipinang Rutan, East Jakarta.

"Suspect Nurindra B Charismiadji is being held at the Cipinang Detention Center based on the Prosecution Level Order of the Head of the East Jakarta District Attorney Number: PRINT - 25 /M.1.13 / Ft.2 / 12/2023 dated December 27, 2023," Mahfuddin said in a statement received by VOI, Thursday, December 28.
