Udayana Military Command Apologizes For 2 Members Involved In The Denpasar Satpol PP Office Attack

DENPASAR - Military Regional Command IX / Udayana apologized to all ranks of the Denpasar City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) for the involvement of two TNI personnel in the incident of the attack on the Denpasar City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP).

This was conveyed by Deputy Intel Kasdam IX/Udayana Lt. Col. Chb I Gusti Ngurah Suma Ardika as quoted from a written statement received from the Information Division of Kodam IX/Udayana, Denpasar, Wednesday, November 29.

During his visit which was received directly by the Head of Denpasar City Satpol PP AA Ngurah Bawa Nendra and his staff, basically Waas Intel Ardika said that the purpose of his arrival was to stay in touch and apologize to the ranks of Kodam IX/Udayana for the attack on the Denpasar City Satpol PP Office involving TNI members of Kodam IX/Udayana.

"Regarding the incident involving the two TNI soldiers, we on behalf of Kodam IX/Udayana apologize profusely. Now, we have secured the alleged perpetrators at Pomdam IX/Udayana for further processing in accordance with applicable legal provisions," said Lt. Col. Gusti Ngurah as reported by ANTARA.

Meanwhile, Denpasar City Satpol PP Head Ngurah Nendra welcomed the arrival of representatives of Kodam IX/Udayana who had taken their time to stay in touch and apologized for the incident and invited each other to intervene in the future.

The Head of Denpasar Satpol PP gave his appreciation to Kodam IX/Udayana for their transparent performance and quickly found and secured the two TNI officers who attacked the Denpasar City Satpol PP Office.

"Furthermore, we entrust the legal process to the authorities from Kodam IX/Udayana, in the future we will always coordinate and synergize with Kodam IX/Udayana to jointly maintain the security of Denpasar City," said Ngurah Nendra.

The gathering of the Waas Intel Kasdam IX/Udayana with the Head of the Denpasar City Police and Staff went smoothly in an atmosphere full of closeness.

Previously, the Head of Information for Kodam IX/Udayana Colonel Fadjar Wahyudi Broto confirmed that two TNI personnel were involved in the attack on the Denpasar City Satpol PP Office on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at around 04.30 WITA at the Denpasar City Satpol PP Office, Jalan Kecubung I Number 4 East Denpasar after securing 33 Commercial Sex Workers (PSK) on Jalan Danau Tempe, Sanur Kauh, Denpasar City, Bali.

The two individuals are Praka JG and Pratu VS. Both of them have now undergone examination at the Udayana Pomdam.
