PDIP Hands Over KTA Gibran Affairs To Surakarta City DPC

Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto emphasized that Gibran Rakabuming Raka's membership card (KTA) was handed over to the Surakarta City PDIP DPC.

This statement was made by Hasto in response to the status of the Mayor of Solo as well as the son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who is now changing course. He also ran as a candidate for vice president (cawapres) Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 presidential election.

"We submit (to, red) the DPC, that's the matter of the DPC (PDIP Surakarta City, ed)," Hasto told reporters in Jakarta quoted on Saturday, November 4.

This attitude was taken because the Surakarta City PDIP DPC sent a letter asking Gibran to return the PDIP KTA. He also got the card not directly from the PDIP DPP.

"Because Mas Gibran received KTA from the DPC," he said.

Previously reported, the Solo PDI-P DPC sent a letter of application to Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Secretary of the PDIP Solo DPC Teguh Prakosa said that his party had written on the orders of the Chairman of the Solo PDIP DPC FX Hadi Rudyatmo.

The letter was sent to Gibran's place on Tuesday, October 31. But unfortunately, Jokowi's son could not be found so the letter was entrusted to his aide.

"The letter has been received (Gibran, red) and I have sent the receipt to Mr. Rudy," said Teguh.

Teguh then met Gibran at night at an event. To him, Gibran said that the letter sent by the Surakarta City PDIP DPC had been recorded

"It's been answered, 'yes, I don't accept it this afternoon'," he said.

However, Teguh said that he did not have the authority to answer Gibran's response to the letter. He said, later the answer would be conveyed by Hadi Rudyatmo.
