BENGKULU - The Bengkulu City Government has again won an unqualified opinion (WTP) on regional government financial reports (LKPD) five times in a row from 2018 to 2022. "WTP opinion is not just an achievement, but an obligation for all local governments in financial management," said Bengkulu Mayor Helmi Hasan after receiving the WTP title from BPK RI in Bengkulu, Antara, Friday, May 12. The award for the achievement of the latest WTP opinion predicate in Bengkulu City, namely the unqualified opinion of the 2022 regional government financial report, was handed over directly to the Head of BPK RI Bengkulu Representative Muhammad Toha Arafat to the Mayor of Bengkulu Helmi Hasan, Friday (12/5) afternoon. " “Alhamdulillah, first we are very happy and happy to get the WTP achievements from this BPK," said Helmi Even though he has received and maintained WTP opinions from year to year, the Mayor of Bengkulu still emphasizes that regional financial management continues to improve. So, in the coming years, according to Helmi, Bengkulu City can still maintain the WTP achievements of the BPK RI and not experience setbacks. To maintain the achievement of the WTP opinion, he said, cooperation, collaboration, and assistance are needed, including from the BPK RI to local governments. "We pray that the father and all his staff will be given health by Allah SWT so that they can always guide us, foster the government, work together, collaborate as previously stated," said Helmi.
