JAKARTA The arrest of the founder of the Auto Trade Gold Trading Robot (ATG) Wahyu Kenzo (WK) by the Malang Police, East Java has received appreciation from the victims. Because, since the case was reported by the victim to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Headquarters, crazy rich Surabaya was immediately secured by the Malang Police.

"So, we came to Bareskrim to convey, first to express our gratitude to the police, which we all know that the founder of ATG has been arrested and detained at the Malang Police," said the attorney for the reporter, Adi Gunawan, from LQ Indonesia Lawfirm to reporters at the National Police Headquarters, Friday, March 10.

"The police must not lose to criminals. Thank you all ranks of the National Police for working hard in this ATG case," he added.

Adi explained that this case began when his party made a report representing the victim in June 2022. In total there were 142 victims they represented, with a loss of more than Rp. 15 billion. The police report numbered LP/B/0288/VI/2022/SPKT BARESKRIM POLRI, dated June 16, 2022. This case was initially reported to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police, then transferred to Polda Metro Jaya.

"We will schedule a meeting with Polda Metro investigators, because coincidentally the report we made on June 16, 2022 was transferred from the National Police Headquarters to Polda Metro Jaya.

In addition to arresting Wahyu, the police are expected to confiscate assets suspected of being the proceeds of money laundering. This is done so that the victim's money can be returned.

Other related police reports are also expected to be withdrawn to the Criminal Investigation Unit, so that the handling is only carried out at the National Police Headquarters. This suggestion was conveyed considering the many other police reports in the area.

"So we hope that the victim, we represent the victim here, hopes that the police, especially the Malang Police, will confiscate the assets in this ATG. So that these assets can be returned to the victim," said Adi.

Adi also invited other victims to make a police report. This is done so that later their losses can be replaced, because they have been included in the case file.

"Because if not, we will reflect on the Indosurya case which was decided by the West Jakarta District Court yesterday and other fraudulent investment cases. The victims who did not register or did not join a police report, their claim of loss was rejected by the panel of judges," he said.

Furthermore, his party did not close the door of peace against Wahyu Kenzo. This is possible if all the money or assets of the victims are returned.
