JAKARTA - The evacuation process of three crew members (ABK) of the MV Mehad 2 ship named Nuasiasin (44), Riki Ardian (24) and Marianto (46) was dramatic. After the captain of MV Mehad 2 named Nusiasin reported to the Pangkalpinang SAR Office, the evacuation process began.

"Monday night, December 26 at around 19.32 WIB, KN SAR Karna communicated with crew MV Mehad 2. We asked the crew of the ship to turn on the lights on the ship," said Head of the Pangkalpinang Search and Rescue Office, I Made Oka Astawa when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, December 27.

Furthermore, the crew members of the ship turned on the ship's lights using an emergency generator.

"The ship's light managed to light up with an estimated fire of only 20 minutes," he said.

Lighting is intended to facilitate the process of searching for ship objects at night in sea waters.

"The rescue team from the Pangkalpinang SAR Office managed to find the target of the ship with conditions washed away as far as 2 NM to the southeast of the LKP," he said.

The ship was sustainably dredger with a blue white color. The cause of the ship was evacuated because it had an engine failure and ran out of fuel and logistics. The ship is in the coordinate position of 1.58'1.93"S 106-15'20.26"T.

"The ship is 14 NM from the Pangkalpinang SAR office," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the MV Mehad 2 ship containing three crew members (ABK) had an engine failure in the middle of the coastal waters of Rebo, Sungailiat District, Bangka Regency. The incident has occurred since Monday, December 26.
