So far, there have been no additional cases of acute kidney disorders at the hospital owned by the Aceh Provincial Government since the Indonesian Ministry of Health's use of sirop drugs was stopped.
"We have reduced the sirop drug and it is no longer used in this hospital," said the pediatrician.
This year, RSUZA Banda Aceh has handled 29 cases of acute kidney disorders, 22 of which died, five recovered, and two people are being treated.
