Italjet Leave Dragster, Focus On Roadster 400 With New Technology

JAKARTA The Italian brand, Italjet, announced its newest model named Roadster 400 which marks the shift in focus of the Dragster iconic platform. This motorbike was officially introduced at the EICMA 2025 event in Milan, Italy, and is a new step in Italjet to bring vehicles with more sporting and high performance characters.

The Roadster 400 is equipped with a liquid-cooled one cylinder with a capacity of 394 cc which is capable of producing 41.5 bhp of power at 7,500 rpm and a 30.3 Ib-ft torque at 6,000 rpm. This force is channeled through the CVT automatic transmission system which is designed to provide a quick response on various road conditions.

Italjet also introduced a new steering system called Dynamic Linkage Artificial Steering (DLAS), the evolution of the manufacturer's signature single-sleeved design. This technology is claimed to provide better precision and stability, especially when maneuvering at high speeds.

Launching from Visordown, Wednesday, November 5, starting in terms of appearance, Roadster 400 retains the hallmark of Italjet with an aggressive and futuristic design. Its body panel is inspired by fighter jets, with large airways on the front side that function to channel air to dual radiators, giving the impression of air intake of jet planes.

The components used are also not kidding. Italjet provides this motorbike with suspensions of phosphlins, a braking system from Nissin, as well as two Akrapovi exhausts that confirm the premium character as well as high performance.

The Italjet's move to leave the Dragster platform signals that the company is ready to evolve. After success with the Dragster 125 to 700 Twin variant, they now present Roadster 400 as a symbol of a new direction, combining high technology with typical Italian aesthetics.

The motorbike is scheduled to launch globally in September 2026 for around 7,500 euros, or equivalent to Rp. 131 million. The Roadster 400 Italjet is proof that the Bologna manufacturer is still capable of creating two-wheeled vehicles that are not only attractive to look at, but also captivating in terms of engineering and driving sensations.
