Student And Student Demonstrations In Front Of The DPR Building Ended In Chaos

Demonstrations of thousands of students and students in front of the DPR/MPR RI Building ended in chaos. The students began to crowd the Jalan Gatot Subroto section, Jakarta at around 13.45 WIB on Thursday, August 28, 2025. Student demonstrations demanded an evaluation of the performance of the House of Representatives (DPR) and rejected the increase in the salaries of members of the DPR. The arrival of hundreds of students and masses at 14.45 WIB increased the atmosphere in front of the gate of the parliament complex heating up with throwing stones and firecrackers at the DPR building.
