Apple Releases 18.3 IOS Developers Beta, 15.3 MacOS, And Other Updates

JAKARTA Apple restarted its developer's beta cycle by releasing the first versions of iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3, macOS 15.3 Sequoia, tvOS 18.3, watchOS 11.3, andvisionOS 2.3. The move comes shortly after the official releases of iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS 15.2 on December 11.

This latest Beta comes with a build number 22D5034e for iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3, as well as 24D5034 for macOS 15.3 Sequoia. Meanwhile, tvOS 18.3 uses build 22K5534e, watchOS 11.3 comes with 22S5534d, and visionOS 2.3 has a build of 22N5875e.

The beta version of iOS 18.3 comes only for developers and is not yet available for public testing. Apple has not provided a release schedule for this public beta version. Although the details of the update have not been fully disclosed, there are several important features to expect.

The previous release of iOS 18.2 brought new features such as the increase in Apple Intelligence, including Genmoji, Image Playground, and the integration of ChatGPT with Siri. At this iOS 18.3, Apple is likely to bring more promised features, such as:

The prediction of the release schedule for iOS 18.3iOS 18.3 is expected to be available to the public by the end of January 2025. After that, the beta test for iOS 18.4 will begin, with a public release expected in March or April.

Apple reminds developers not to install these betas on primary devices or for critical needs, due to the risk of system damage and data loss. Users are advised to use secondary devices and ensure safe data backups.

With this launch, Apple will close its developer beta series in 2024. The next testing cycle will most likely resume in early January 2025.
