Still Outperforming Bluesky, Threads Successfully Reaches 100 Million Daily Users

JAKARTA Meta announced the latest achievement from Threads. On Monday, December 17, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed that Threads has finally reached 100 million daily active users.

This is a very important milestone as Meta seeks to rival the number of daily and monthly users of the platform X. Previously, Meta never shared the number of users daily as they only published monthly user numbers.

In line with the increasing number of daily active users on Threads, the platform has also succeeded in increasing the number of monthly active users. Zuckerberg says that Threads now have more than 300 million monthly activities.

This achievement shows that Threads is still the second-largest microblog platform and is still superior to Bluesky. The large number of users turning to Bluesky doesn't seem to really affect Threads' monthly activities.

This is good news for Threads, especially Zuckerberg. With this achievement, the Meta leader believes that, "the momentum Threads will continue." Zuckerberg seems confident that this increase will continue until next year.

Over the past few months, Bluesky has managed to attract millions of new users because Threads has moderation problems and X uses a strange blocking system. As a result, Bluesky has more than 25 million users today.

When many Threads users decide to switch apps, the platform says that it is fixing moderation issues that disrupt some users. Threads also adds many new features to improve the user experience.
