JAKARTA - The DANA digital wallet application has launched a new feature to simplify non-cash payment activities. Through the collaboration with Parkee, DANA users can now pay for parking directly through the application.

During a pandemic like this time, some people still have to go to the office to work. In addition, people also continue to go to malls or supermarkets to shop for their daily necessities.

"The parking payment feature in the DANA application, which was realized thanks to the synergy with Parkee, will make it easier for the public to pay for parking in office buildings, hospitals, malls and hotels," he said.

Parkee, which is a digital platform and has functions and services as available parking searches and cashless parking payments, is now collaborating with DANA which can be enjoyed immediately by DANA users.

This collaborative step is to support the transformation of digital payments that are currently being echoed by the government to the public.

"This collaboration as a special collaboration from DANA is aimed at helping the transformation to the digital ecosystem more quickly," he said.

Parkee CEO and Co-founder, Wilson Sumanang, on the same occasion said that this collaboration with DANA aims to make it easier for motorists, especially two-wheelers who may not own or carry electronic money for non-cash payment purposes.

"Our goal is to collaborate with DANA to help users so they don't spend money on parking payments in cash. Payment is also quite easy, just open the DANA application and just pay by barcode scanning," he added.

Currently, Parkee, which has served more than 200,000 users and more than 900,000 transactions, is confident that this collaboration will increase the number of users.

"We are targeting around 1 million transactions in 1 year or more," he said.

To take advantage of this parking payment feature, the method is quite easy. DANA users only need to scan parking tickets using the DANA application. Then confirm and pay.

Once the transaction is successful, users will get a notification that will remind them to leave the building or parking area according to the predetermined time.
