The cost of hosting the 2024 Indonesian MotoGP event which took place at the Mandalika Circuit, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, has been paid off to Dorna Sports.
This assurance was conveyed by the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) President Director, Priandi Satria, in Central Lombok on Monday, December 16, 2024.
"We convey that the hosting fee for the 2024 MotoGP event has been fully paid to Dorna. There is no problem at all and no need to exaggerate," said Priandi Satria, quoted by Antara.
The MGPA only acts as the manager of the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit and as an event organizer in the implementation of the 2024 MotoGP.
They are not in direct contact with Dorna as the owner of the MotoGP event regarding the hosting fee.

Priandi explained that the relationship between MGPA and Dorna is technical and racing, both in race and non-race, so hosting fee is the domain of ITDC (Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation), as the party who from the beginning had an agreement with Dorna.
"We at the MGPA together with ITDC have started to have discussions with Dorna regarding preparations for Indonesia MotoGP 2025," he said.
