Starting To Open, Grass Market Flats Already Accommodate 7 COVID-19 Isolation Patients

JAKARTA - Jakarta Grass Market Flats began to fill with COVID-19 isolation patients since yesterday. Head of Information for Kogabwilhan I, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, said that as of today, 7 people have been isolated in the Pasar Rumput Flats.

"The number of inpatients at the COVID-19 Emergency Hospital Flat Pasar Rumput is 7 people, with details of 2 men and 5 women," said Aris in his statement, Monday, July 19.

The Pasar Rumput Flats consist of three towers. Its operation starts from the 4th floor to the 25th floor. Each floor has a variety of occupancy numbers, ranging from 29 to 34 dwellings. Each dwelling contains three beds. The total capacity can reach 5,950 beds.

Previously, BNPB had sent isolation support facilities to Pasar Grass, including 975 beds, 2,500 pillows, 4,141 mattresses, 2,793 sheets, 2,793 pillowcases, and 1,984 plastic chairs.

Then 1,000 units of fans, 1,984 units of towel racks, 2,160 units of dipper, 1,1200 units of buckets, 2,067 units of filing cabinets, 500 pcs of blankets, and 988 units of garbage bins.

Furthermore, Aris also explained that today there was a reduction in the occupancy rate of beds treating COVID-19 patients at the Kemayoran Athlete Wisma Emergency Hospital.

Currently, the usability reaches 73.4 percent, so there are 26.6 percent of beds that are not occupied by patients. As of today, 288 people have just left the Athlete House as COVID-19 isolation patients.

"Inpatients at the Wisma Atlet Hospital are 5,795 people from 7,894 bed capacities. Initially there were 6,083 people being treated and today there are 288 people," said Aris.

Then, the isolation capacity of the Nagrak Cilincing Flats today is 22.7 percent or there are 750 beds filled with isolation patients from a total of 3,302 beds. Yesterday, the Nagrak Flat was filled with 821 patients. Today reduced by 70 patients.
