JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP), Benni Aguscandra said that the most companies that applied for worker registration certificates (STRP) in the capital were the financial and banking sectors.

From 5 to 14 July, DPMPTSP recorded more than 100 thousand incoming applications. Each company responsible for submitting a collective STRP with a number of workers ranging from 5 to 20 workers and one company can apply repeatedly after the application is approved or rejected by the officer.

"Based on the data in charge of companies in the 5 most sectors, namely 15,074 in the financial and banking sector, 11,916 in the food and beverage sector and its support, 10,588 in the health sector, 9,675 in the logistics, transportation and distribution sector, and 9,450 in the information and communication technology sector," said Benni in his statement, Thursday, July 15.

More specifically, there have been at least 136,448 incoming STRP applications. Of the applications, 119,183 applications were approved, 1,051 applications were still in the administrative review process, and 16,216 applications were rejected.

The application is still being processed because it has just been submitted. Then, the rejected application is due to not complying with the licensing technical administration requirements as stipulated in the applicable legislation.

"Of the total 136,448 STRP applications, there are 134,927 corporate or collective STRP applications in essential and critical sectors, as well as 1,521 individual STRP applications for the urgent need category," said Benni.

Meanwhile, a surge in STRP applications occurred on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. It was recorded that 67,177 STRP applications were submitted.

“Last Tuesday, there was an 8-fold surge in requests than usual. However, we were able to overcome this spike by having completed 98 percent of the STRP applications submitted,” said Benni.

It is known that STRP must be owned by workers in essential and critical sector companies who must work outside the home during the Emergency PPKM period. STRP is registered by the company.

STRP can be made on the page http://jakevo.jakarta.go.id. First, the STRP applicant fills out the form and uploads the required conditions. Then, the file will be verified by UP PMPPTSP. The issuance of STRP is a maximum of 5 hours after the requirements are declared complete.

After that, the published STRP can be downloaded at http://jakevo.jakarta.go.id. When checking STRP in the field, just show the QR code via cellphone to the officer.
