KPK Investigate Procurement Of Primary School Seats And Desk In Semarang City

KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika said the investigation was carried out by examining two witnesses. They underwent examination at the Semarang Polrestabes, Central Java.

"The witness was investigated regarding the procurement of furniture for chairs and elementary schools at the Semarang City Government," Tessa said in a written statement to reporters, Tuesday, December 17.

The two witnesses examined were Bambang Pramusinto who is the Head of the Semarang City Office and Muhammad Ahsan as the Secretary of the Archives and Library Service. However, Tessa has not yet detailed the procurement.

Previously reported, the KPK began investigating three alleged corruption crimes within the Semarang City Government (Pemkot). The details are the procurement of goods and services within the Semarang City Government in 2023-2024, the alleged extortion of civil servants related to incentives for collecting taxes and levies in the Semarang City area, as well as the alleged receipt of gratuities in 2023-2024.

Mereka adalah Wali Kota Semarang Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu atau Mbak Ita dan suaminya, Alwin Basri yang juga Ketua Komisi D DPRD; Martono selaku Ketua Gapensi Semarang yang juga Direktur PT Chimarder777 dan PT Rama Sukses Mandiri; serta P. Rachmat Utama Djangkar selaku Direktur Utama PT Deka Sari Perkasa.

Meski sudah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka namun pengumuman resmi dan penahanan belum dilakukan. Mbak Ita bahkan mengajukan gugatan praperadilan ke Pengadilan Negeri (PN) Jakarta Selatan karena tak terima dengan status hukumnya.
