4 Perpetrators Of Clashes Killed 1 Resident In Cianjur Arrested, Triggered By Mutual Insinuation

The police arrested four perpetrators of the clash that led to the death of a resident of Cibeber District with the initials HE (51). The clashes also left three other people seriously injured by a sharp weapon stab.

Kasatreskrim Cianjur Police Commissioner Adjutant Tono Listianto said the four perpetrators of RR (20), IR (19), DR (21), and MG (22) were residents of Cilaku District, had made an appointment to carry out brawls because they were triggered by mutually sarcastic actions.

"The perpetrators were arrested at their respective homes a few hours after the brawl. We received reports and conducted investigations, the four perpetrators were arrested along with evidence of a number of sharp weapons," he said in Cianjur Monday, December 16, confiscated by Antara.

According to the perpetrators, he said, they had satirized each other with the group of victims who ended up clashing using sharp weapons, which caused HE to suffer stab wounds all over his body, especially in the back and head.

The same thing was experienced by the victims of EV injuries (21), DR (17), and MA (19) who were immediately taken to the local health center, but HE was referred to the hospital because the injuries suffered were very severe, but on the way his life could not be saved.

"For the actions of the perpetrators, they were charged with Articles 338 and 170 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 351 of the Criminal Code with the threat of imprisonment for a maximum of life," he said.

Along with the high number of street violence, he said, his party increased patrols to areas that were considered prone to community disease, especially by conducting socialization so that residents could help protect the environment by conducting night patrols.

"We will continue to increase patrols to a number of areas that are considered prone to public diseases, especially street violence, drug trafficking, liquor, and illicit liquor and other community diseases," said Tono.
