Acting Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information and Communication Center Abdul Muhari reported that the forest and land fires (karhutla) occurred at two points, namely in Kawein Village and Manggari Village.

"After making efforts to extinguish the fire using a jarpyok and floating pump engine, the fire was successfully extinguished at 17.15 WIB," he said.
