MUKOMUKO - The Education and Culture Office of Mukomuko Regency, Bengkulu Province, conducted an inspection to ensure the presence of early childhood education teachers to junior high school on the first day of work after the 1444 Hijri Eid Al-Fitr holiday. The inspection was carried out by the Head of the Education and Culture Office of Mukomuko Regency, Epi Mardiani, and his staff at schools spread across 15 sub-districts in this area. "It is only the first time the Education and Culture Office has conducted an inspection of the presence of teachers in this area. It is hoped that this activity can increase teacher discipline in this area," said the Head of Elementary School Education at the Mukomuko Regency Education and Culture Office Ramon in Mukomuko, Antara, Tuesday, May 2. The agency divided several officials and staff within the Education and Culture Office into two-three groups to conduct inspections. Based on the report on the results of the inspection, he said, the majority of teachers, both state civil servants (ASN) and regional honorary teachers, were present on the first day of work. He said there were three junior high school teachers in this area who were not present on the first day of work because they were sick. The absence of teachers is evidenced by a permit. His party asked the teacher to return to teaching and learning activities at this regional school as usual. According to him, teachers are role models for their students so they must be the first figures to apply work discipline by not adding to the Eid holiday. On this day, teaching and learning activities in most PAUD to junior high schools in this area have been running as usual.
