JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has allowed wedding receptions to be held in buildings during the PSBB transition period, including in the village.

However, Deputy Governor of DKI, Ahmad Riza Patria, said that DKI residents who hold receptions in their neighborhood are required to ask for permission and apply health protocols.

"As far as the COVID-19 protocol is carried out, (receptions in the village) are possible. Therefore, we ask that before it is held, individuals can submit proposals according to the provisions," said Riza at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, Monday, November 9.

Separately, the Head of the Tourism Industry Division of the Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf), Bambang Ismadi said, there are differences in proposals for wedding receptions in the village and in the building.

Permits for receptions in the village are submitted to the Task Force for Handling COVID-19 at the sub-district or sub-district level in each region.

"Villages are not the domain of the Parekraf Service, please coordinate with the COVID-19 task force at the village / sub-district level," said Bambang.

As is known, the DKI Provincial Government officially allows each building to open wedding reception services during the transitional PSBB period. Previously, the provincial government only allowed the marriage contract without a reception.

Although this is permitted, every building that will host a wedding reception must apply for a permit. "Meeting buildings, venues, or hotels that will hold wedding receptions are welcome to submit a request to the joint Jakarta Provincial Government team," said Bambang.

In addition, wedding hall managers and hotels that provide reception facilities must also comply with the integrity pact to properly implement the COVID-19 protocol in accordance with the provisions given by the DKI Provincial Government, especially the maximum number of guests is 25 percent of normal capacity.
