JAKARTA In the fashion world, collaboration is often a space for creativity to develop further. This is reflected in the steps of DUST, the country's denim Indonesia, which has existed since 1989, when it introduced its newest collection at the SPOTLIGHT 2024 event.

With the theme 'DUST Meets Cultural Threads,' this collection is the result of collaboration between DUST and PT. Multi Sandang Tamajaya. This collaboration combines exploration of fashion designs with a touch of art, presenting works that prioritize innovation as well as respecting cultural values.

The design in this collection combines art elements such as hand paintings, modern graphics, and experimental textures, producing unique pieces of clothing. Like denim jackets with abstract motifs and embroidery pants, it's a real example of how this one's brand processes denim into a medium for storytelling and expression.

This collaboration is our way of showing how art and fashion can complement each other. We want to show clothes not only about aesthetics, but also the medium to tell something deeper," said a representative from DUST.

SPOTLIGHT 2024, which will take place on December 13, 2024 at the Jakarta Convention Center, is the right platform to introduce this work to the public.
