Two Months Before He Died, Iqbal Pakula Was No Longer Able To Meet His Children

JAKARTA - Iqbal Pakula passed away on Tuesday, April 25 in the morning at the hospital. The body of the deceased has also been buried at the Menteng Pulo Public Cemetery (TPU) in the afternoon.

According to Andiez, the wife of Iqbal Pakula, the actor died after battling the heart problems he had suffered since last year.

In the last two months, Iqbal has also had to undergo intensive outpatient treatment to deal with problems in his heart. As a result, Iqbal could not meet his son.

A few days before his death, while undergoing treatment at the hospital, Iqbal, who missed his son because he had not seen him for a long time, asked to be met, but the hospital was not allowed.

"He really wanted to meet his son, because he had been sick for a long time, about two months he didn't see his son. Then last night when he wanted to meet at the hospital, he wasn't allowed to enter," said Andiez to the media crew at the Menteng Pulo TPU.

Andiez said that the distance from the hospital was quite far from where he lived, as well as the child's activities that could not be left, prevented the late husband from meeting the child for the past two months.

"Because he really has to be treated for treatment. So the hospital is far away, we live in Gading Serpong, while the hospital is in South Jakarta. So he lives there first, so he rarely sees his children and children at school too every day," said Andiez.

Since the child was not allowed to visit Iqbal in the inpatient room, Andiez said her husband had communicated with their child via video call.

The communication between the late husband and his son became a separate memory for Andiez. He said Iqbal was a humorous figure, even the last time the deceased communicated with his son.
