Former Regent And Member Of DPRD Suspect For Corruption In Kuansing Riau, Head Of The Prosecutor's Office Ensures Complete Investigation
RIAU - Head of the Kuantan Singingi (Kuansing) District Public Prosecutor's Office (Kejari), Riau Province, Hadiman, emphasized that his party did not discriminate against various corruption cases.
Including the alleged corruption of six activities at the local Regional Secretariat (Setda) for the 2017 fiscal year with a value of activities reaching Rp. 13.3 billion.
The case also dragged the Regent of Kuantan Singingi for the 2016-2021 period, Mursini, who is currently a suspect, as well as former members of the Kuansing DPRD, Mus and RA.
According to Hadiman, as quoted from Antara, Saturday, July 24, this act of corruption has a very wide impact, detrimental to the state and region, so it must be eradicated.
He said the prosecutor's office strongly supports the government's program to achieve zero corruption in Kuantan Singingi Regency. For that, it takes the cooperation of all parties in order to make this happen.
Currently, the Kuantan Singingi District Prosecutor's Team and the Riau Province High Prosecutor's Office are united in investigating the alleged corruption case involving a number of officials, politicians and former officials.
Currently, there are six activities in the Kuantan Singingi Regional Secretariat where the funds are suspected of not being used according to their intended purpose, namely dialogues and hearings with community leaders, leaders and members of social and community organizations worth Rp. 7.2 billion, activities to receive work visits from state officials with a budget value of Rp. 1.2 billion .
Furthermore, the coordination meeting of Muspida elements is worth Rp. 1.185 billion, the coordination of local government officials is Rp. 960 million, work visits or inspections of regional heads are Rp. 725 million, and food and drink provision activities (routine) are Rp. 1.27 billion.
From these activities, the state is suspected to have suffered losses of more than Rp. 5 billion. "This is what we keep revealing, where did the money go?" said Hadiman.
