Police Officers Selling Drugs In Mukomuko Arrested

MUKOMUKO - The Mukomuko Police Narcotics Unit, Bengkulu, arrested a member of the National Police with the initials Bripka MN (40) suspected of being a drug user and seller of methamphetamine.

"MN is not only a user, but also a seller," said Mukomuko Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Andy Arisandi as quoted by Antara, Friday, July 23.

The Narcotics Unit of the Mukomuko District Police arrested this individual member on the basis of LP /A 328 / VII / 2021 / SPKT. Narcotics Sat / Mukomuko Police / Bengkulu Police.

This individual member of the National Police was arrested along with a woman with the initials SMD (36) who works as a housewife who is suspected of being the wife of the police officer's serial marriage. Both were arrested at Bumi Asri Housing, Banda Ratu Village, Mukomuko City District.

The actions of these two perpetrators violated Article 112 Paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 132 Paragraph (1) of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a minimum penalty of four years and a maximum of 12 years.
