Song Hye Kyo Will Play Mystery Thriller Drakor By Sweet Home Director
JAKARTA - Actress Song Hye Kyo reportedly received an offer for a Korean drama directed by Lee Eung Bok. The drama, which does not yet have a title, will be in the mystery thriller genre and will show a new side.
"It is known that Song Hye Kyo agreed to appear in Lee Eung Bok's new drama," a source told Newsen on Thursday, July 22.
Director Lee Eung Bok directed projects such as Goblin, Mr. Sunshine, and Sweet Home.
Lee Eung Bok and Song Hye Kyo once worked together through the Korean drama Descendants of the Sun which hit in 2016.
On the other hand, Song Hye Kyo is also currently filming for the Korean drama Now, We Are Breaking Up. She plays Ha Young Eun, a design team manager who works at a fashion label.
Song Hye Kyo will compete acting with Jang Ki Yong, Choi Hee Seo, Kim Joo Heon, Sehun EXO, and Yura.
In addition, Song Hye Kyo is also confirmed to star in the Korean drama The Glory. This drama was written by Kim Eun Sook who wrote the script for Descendants of the Sun and Goblin. Filming will take place after he is done with Now, We Are Breaking Up.
The Glory tells the story of a person who is bullied and has a dream come true. He decides to take revenge on those who abused him at school.
