Really Good! Minister Trenggono 1.3 Ton Cow Sacrifice In His Office
JAKARTA – Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono sacrificed a 1.3 ton limousine cow in celebration of Eid al-Adha 1442 H. The slaughter took place at Mina Bahari 3 Building, the KKP headquarters complex in Central Jakarta, today Tuesday, July 20 .
According to Minister Trenggono, this year's slaughter of sacrificial animals is not only for worship and sharing with others, but also hopes that they will be given strength and all of their staff in carrying out the task of developing the marine and fisheries sector.
"Through this sacrifice, we hope that Allah SWT, God Almighty, will give strength to the ranks of the KKP (Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries) in carrying out the mandate of developing the marine and fisheries sector," he said.
In addition, Minister Trenggono also expressed his hope that the pandemic could end soon as vaccinations were more intensively carried out in Indonesia. He also appealed to all KKP employees and the public to comply with government recommendations, namely implementing strict health protocols.
"Please obey the procedure, don't take off the mask," he said.
For information, the cows were imported directly from Wonogiri, Central Java yesterday and the slaughter was carried out this morning after the sacrificial committee held the Eid prayer.
Besides the sacrificial cow from Minister Trenggono, there was another limousine cow that was also slaughtered at the KKP office. Packages of sacrificial meat were then distributed to the people living around the Mina Bahari Building and KKP employees, such as security officers and cleaners.
The series of slaughtering sacrificial animals is carried out with strict observance of the COVID-19 health protocol. In addition to wearing masks, the entire sacrificial committee carried out an antigen test first with all negative results.
