How Long Should A Sex Session Last?
JAKARTA - Dr. Brendan Zietsch of the University of Queensland in Australia conducted a survey of 500 couples who had sex over four weeks, in which he gave them a stopwatch and asked them to set a timer.
"Measuring the average time to ejaculate is not easy," he told the HelloGiggles website, as VOI quoted on Tuesday, July 20.
"Most likely most people think that 'longer lasting is greater'. Second, not everyone feels the need to know how long they can make love in one session, because of course, no one has thought to measure the time of making love."

Zietsch himself found the following survey results: penetration can last between 33 seconds to 44 minutes but the average time is 5 minutes and 40 seconds. This amount of time does not include foreplay.
Another survey result: condom use does not affect performance or how long the sex session lasts. So there really isn't a "normal" time for how long a sex session should last.
