Menpan Asks ASN To Care For The Surrounding Environment During The Pandemic
JAKARTA - Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Tjahjo Kumolo asked the state civil apparatus (ASN) to care about the surrounding environment, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tjahjo Kumolo in his statement in Jakarta, Monday, said ASN must pay attention to how the president's directives are implemented in their immediate environment.
“ASN are the eyes and ears of the public as well as the eyes and ears of the government so that the president's directives are carried out properly. The president has given instructions regarding social assistance and free medicine for COVID-19 sufferers who are in self-isolation," he said, quoted by Antara, Monday, July 19.
ASN is asked to provide full support for the success of the COVID-19 vaccination program, he said.
"We participate in providing information and trying our best regarding COVID-19 vaccinations to our communities and families in need," he said.
Tjahjo invited ASN to play an active role in implementing policies and programs to accelerate the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“ASNs must obey the instructions of the president and their respective civil service supervisors (PPK). When given the task of leadership to be carried out quickly, "he said.
ASN as state administrators, he said, must set an example for the community to comply with health protocols, remain productive, and support all government efforts. Menpan said that the awareness of all Indonesians was needed to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Together, we work together with the TNI, Polri, and Satpol PP to mobilize and organize the community to obey health protocols and make vaccinations successful," he said.
