Bobby Nasution Immediately Distributes 51 Thousand Food Packages To Medan Residents Affected By Emergency PPKM
JAKARTA - The City Government (Pemko) of Medan, North Sumatra, immediately distributed social assistance to affected residents during the Emergency Community Activity Restriction (PPKM) period.
"Tomorrow we will distribute it," said Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution after providing assistance to residents in Mangga Village, Medan Tuntungan District, quoted by Antara, Saturday, July 17.
The mayor said the assistance that would be given in the first phase was in the form of basic food packages containing rice, sugar and cooking oil.
"There are more than 51,000 food packages that we will distribute. We have determined the basic needs which contain 20 kilograms of rice, 2 kilograms of sugar and 1 liter of cooking oil," he said.
He asked all neighborhood heads in Medan City to be careful in registering residents who are entitled to Emergency PPKM assistance.
"This head of the neighborhood has arrived but doesn't know which ones sell daily, which ones are employees, online motorcycle taxis. If this can be recorded, it can really be seen whether this has received assistance from the APBN or not, because it's not only from the APBD, from the APBN later help will come out," he said.
