The imposition of sanctions, continued Marta, is in accordance with Law 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation and PM (Ministerial Regulation) Number 15 of 2019. In addition, PM 117 of 2018 concerning the operation of people with motorized transportation is not on the route.

However, the sanctions given to the bus crew will be coordinated with the police. He emphasized that all those who violate will be dealt with in accordance with the violation, including bus companies.

"So we will review the 3 permits from those companies. It seems that from this there will also be revocation sanctions later in the three criteria," he said.

Previously, Polda Metro Jaya took action against 36 Inter-City Inter-Provincial (AKAP) buses that violated the rules for the Implementation of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM).

The violations they committed were departing and boarding passengers without going through the terminal. In fact, all passengers traveling during the Emergency PPKM must complete certain conditions.

"There are 36 AKAP buses that have been successfully secured by a combination of friends from Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya and Land Transportation. The 36 vehicles are route violations," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Saturday, July 17. By not going through the terminal, passengers can pass the inspection of the completeness of the antigen swab certificate, vaccines and so on.
