At Night, The National Police Chief Blusukan In Solo Distributes Basic Necessities To Residents And Angkringan Traders
SOLO - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo toured the city of Solo, Central Java. The National Police Chief had a dialogue and visited residents affected by the emergency PPKM while distributing food packages and masks.
The National Police Chief had a dialogue with several residents and traders regarding the conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially since the emergency PPKM was implemented.
"How is the sale, sir? Does this emergency PPKM have an impact?" asked the National Police Chief to one of the angkringan traders. "Yes sir," replied the merchant.
The National Police Chief also asked traders to be patient and continue to comply with health protocols and comply with the emergency PPKM policy so that the number of COVID-19 will decrease.
"Hopefully the COVID-19 case can decrease, sir, so things get back to normal. But still obey the health protocols, wear masks and obey PPKM policies," said the National Police Chief
After the dialogue, General Sigit provided basic food assistance and masks for traders and workers affected by the emergency PPKM.
General Sigit hopes that this assistance from the government can ease the burden on residents so they can get through the COVID-19 pandemic.
"This is a little help from the government, sir. If it's not enough, then just tell the police here, sir," said Sigit.
Merchants and local residents who received the assistance expressed their gratitude. He also hopes that the COVID-19 pandemic will soon pass and he can work and carry out activities as usual.
"Thank God, thank you sir for your help. This is very helpful. Hopefully COVID-19 will pass quickly," he said.
During the tour, the National Police Chief was accompanied by Asops Inspector General Imam Sugianto, Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi, Propam Head of Propam Inspector General Ferdy Sambo and Police Public Relations Head Inspector General Argo Yuwono. While the food packages prepared to be distributed to residents are 1,000 packages.
